Onur Hasan Kırman is a graduate student at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Archaeology Department. He has been working at Tell Atchana and the nearby Toprakhisar Höyük Excavations since 2016. He is the Assistant Director of Field Operations at Tell Atchana. His research is focused on the geo-chemical characterization of the mud bricks used at both sites. He is particularly interested in research topics including architecture, agency and climate change in the Bronze Age. He is a TÜBİTAK 1001 fellow as part of the research project called “Geological and Archaeological Traces of Climatic Changes in the Amuq Valley of Hatay during the Holocene”.
